Marissa Ding is an Asian American portrait, editorial, and live music photographer based in Minnesota. She is interested in youth culture among BIPOC individuals growing up in the Midwest and immigrant stories. Through reflection on the natural environments that individuals from marginalized communities are raised in, she explores the ways in which people are shaped by the cultural and historical precedents of their surroundings.
Marissa graduated in 2025 from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Studies and a minor in Communications: Justice, Voice and Advocacy.
